The rules for international travel from Tenerife to England will change on the 4th October 2021.
A simplified system for international travel will come into effect.
There will be two categories; Red List Countries and the Rest of the World.
Fully vaccinated passengers entering England from a NON Red List Country such as Spain/Tenerife, will no longer:
From the end of October they will be able to:-
If the passenger tests positive to their Lateral Flow Test on Day 2, they will then need to isolate and take a PCR Test.
Any passenger who is travelling and hasn’t been fully vaccinated by one of the authorised vaccines and doesn’t have a recognised certificate will still have to take a Pre Departure Test and pre book a Day 2 and Day 8 PCR Test.
Un-vaccinated passengers will also be required to self isolate for 10 days on return to England.
There is the Option to Test to Release for unvaccinated passengers who can choose to pay for a private COVID-19 Test on Day 5.
A negative Day 2 and Day 5 Test Result means you will be able to end your quarantine.
The Test to Release test cannot be taken unless you have been in England for 5 full days.
