Entry Requirements for Tenerife

As part of Spain, Tenerife is within the EU.

A Visa is not required to enter Spain if you are arriving from the U.K. or the E.U.  You will just need to present your passport.  Ensure that your passport has six months before it expires.

As the U.K. is no longer part of the E.U. any U.K. resident can remain in Spain including the Canary Islands for 3 months.  If you wish to stay longer than this you will require a visa.  The maximum stay without a visa is 90 days in a six month period.

During the current Covid-19 pandemic various restrictions have been in place and we would suggest you check the up to date situation on the Spanish and U.K. government websites before you travel as this constantly changes.

See our page “Can we travel to Tenerife” for more information on travel to and from Tenerife.
