Arrivals

When you arrive at Tenerife South Airport there is just one terminal building.

The arrivals terminal is equipped to cater for disabled and wheelchair bound passengers.

In the airport arrivals terminal there are banking and currency exchange facilities.  There is also a post office, VIP lounge and meeting room facilities along with a wide selection of shops and restaurants.  In arrivals you will also find an excellent tourist information office.

When you arrive at Tenerife South Airport (TFS), the arrivals area is based on the ground and lower floor of the terminal building.

You will disembark either via one of the air bridges or by shuttle bus and taken to the arrivals terminal building.

Depending on whether you disembark onto one of the air bridges or shuttle bus, will dictate how far you have to walk to passport control.  Disembarking at some of the gates may mean you will have a little further to walk, the furthest gates being approximately 8 minutes walk.

Passengers arriving at TFS will find a number of useful facilities in the arrivals area.  If you haven’t pre-booked car hire or a private transfer service, other transport options are found outside the terminal building.

Passport Control

After arrriving and disembarking follow the signs to Passport Control.  You will need to present your passport for checking.

The Canary Islands are party to the Schengen Agreement, but if you are arriving from outside the Schengen Area, Passport Control is obligatory.

Customs

If you are travelling from outside the European Union and have goods to declare you will have to go through Customs.

For further information check out the European Commission website.

Baggage Reclaim

Once you have passed through Passport Control, if you have baggage to collect, follow signs to the two baggage reclaim halls which are situated on the ground and first floors.

There are 14 carousels in total.

Check the screens to see which carousel your flight is assigned to.

Lost Luggage

If, for any reason, your baggage does not arrive or arrives damaged, you should immediately contact the carrier for your airline.

The baggage handlers for each airline are located either on the ground or first floor baggage reclaim halls.
